Talk time.....(read till the end plz)

Hi, guys I hope you are well. Today I don't have anything planned to write, oh yes I said that. I am just going to talk about anything that comes to my mind. First of all, I hope you guys enjoyed my last blog post written by my dad on financial management. It was really insightful, so if you haven't checked it out make sure you do.
So, do you sometimes have moments that you look at yourself in the mirror and just doubt yourself, or even think you are a failure and not worth it? Do you do have such moments,  because sometimes I do. When in quarantine either jobless or not, doing online schooling, or not, it doesn't matter. Today I'm here to tell that it's alright to have such moments and you are just being true to yourself. Every single time you look at yourself in the mirror and think you are not what you would like to be, you are actually helping yourself because this will help you analyse yourself and your life. Well, mourn if you have to, but most importantly you have to strategize on how to overcome the negative feelings and thoughts. When you do this, you will definitely start being your better self.

The thing is, there are always weak points in our lives and we got to own it.  The truth of the matter is, no one is a failure and growing up, I have come to realize and accept that. We are all amazing and you don't need me, or anyone else telling you of your worthiness. You should never give up on your dreams and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. All you need to do is believe in yourself. Whether you want to be; a business woman/man, a doctor or an actor, go achieve your goals as long as you believe in your self. Let no one or anything deter you from achieving your goal. As a matter of fact, as I was writing this, I was quite unwell but still continued writing because this is my passion and my dream and unless I can no longer move my hands, I will always continue writing.

Lastly, we do recognize that our parents have nothing but the best wishes for us. At times, they would want us to be in certain professions when we grow up for example a doctor, lawyer, teacher or an engineer, etc. However, their preference or career choice may differ from our choices. In as much as this may be difficult, I would advise that you have a genuine and open conversation with your parents. In most cases, your parents will support your choice. They will even give you further advice on how to reach your goal. Let us not forget that they are more experienced. Most importantly, is to discover your talent and aim to be the best. Everyone of us has a God given talent, so aim to discover what it is and pursue it; please don't misuse it.

Oh my God, I literally have just written a whole long blog post which I had not planned before writing, that's insane🤯 totally checking that off my bucket list. I also wanted to wish my dearest cousin Ivanna and bestie (Uncle Waruingi) a fabulous birthday. I love you both so much. Have a massive one.
